"We used Avant Garde as our wedding planners for our November 12, 2011 wedding. I thought I could do everything myself but as the date inched closer, I realized I needed help with the final touches of the wedding. I came to Elizabeth and Maribel to inquire about the month before package and it was perfect! Both Maribel and Elizabeth were kind and professional while taking in our ideas of what we saw in our wedding and helping our dreams become realizations. Elizabeth and Maribel took over ALL the planning after our initial meeting and it was as though a huge weight came off our shoulders. Avant Garde contacted all our vendors, scheduled meetings, attended meetings, asked the questions I wouldn’t have thought to ask, and were there 24/7. If I had a question late at night, I always received my answer right away. Avant Garde went above and beyond my expectations the few days before the wedding by taking all our “wedding stuff” to deliver to the proper locations, set up on the day of, and make sure that everything was in its rightful spot. Both ladies were at the rehearsal to gather all the necessary details to help my stress level the day of. On our wedding day, I honestly did not have to worry about one thing. Everyone had an itinerary, all the vendors were contacted by Avant Garde, set-up was FLAWLESS, and we had Avant Garde available throughout the entire day. The ladies even helped with clean-up and took all our personal items home for us to pick up later. It was the best feeling not having to worry about picking anything up so we could continue to celebrate. Avant Garde was the best money we spent for our wedding as our stress completely disappeared after they took over. I couldn’t have asked for better wedding planners! Avant Garde is definitely the best in San Antonio!"
